MINUTES OF THE A.G.M.OF OKEFORD FITZPAINE PARISH COUNCIL HELD AT THE PAVILION ON TUESDAY 6th MAY 2008
Present:- Cllr M Burt Cllr E Horton
Cllr R Corben Cllr S Corben
Cllr B Trowbridge
Also present: Mrs R Burrows (Clerk), Mrs A Calcott, Cllr Mrs H Cox, PC D Mullens (Dorset Police) and 3 members of the public.
1) APOLOGIES: Cllrs Mrs A Burch, Mrs H Cox, A Frampton (working), B Trowbridge (other meeting).
2) ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN:
The Chairman called for nominations. Cllr R Corben proposed and Cllr T Burt seconded Cllr M Burt. There were no othere nominations. Cllr M Burt was duly elected for the coming year.
3) ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN:
The Chairman called for nominations. Cllr R Corben proposed and Cllr S Corben seconded Cllr Horton. There were no other nominations. Cllr Horton was duly elected for the coming year.
4) COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE’S TO OTHER BODIES
DAPTC – Cllr R Corben proposed and Cllr S Corben seconded Cllr M Burt.
5) OTHER REPRESENTATIVES
Rights of Way Liaison Officer – Cllr Horton and Mrs A Calcott
Youth Club – Mrs A Calcott
Football Club – Cllr S Corben
Local Public Transport – Mrs A Calcott
All of the above were agreed.
Home Watch – it was suggested that an advert be placed in the Parish Magazine and on noticeboards for a co-ordinator. Clerk to arrange this.

There being no furthre business proper to the AGM, the Chairman closed the meeting at 7.45 pm.
