Adjacent to Bowey Field in Lower St is a small area of grass now known as Chapel Green next to it is the old Methodist Chapel, having lain unused for several years it was converted into living accommodation in 1995. In Pound Lane behind the Church there is a smaller Methodist Chapel the two were once in competition but now both are closed.
